The Alpena High girls golf team finished eighth with a team score of 421 on Friday at Traverse City West. Grace Bouchard led the team with a sixth place score of 87; Sydney Silver shot 99; Jami Richards shot 108; Josephine Cabana shot 136; Alivia Garrow shot 127 and Liliana Tolan shot 152.

The Wildcat boys tennis team took fifth place at the Midland Tennis Center on Friday against Midland, Bay City Western, Milan, Petoskey, Hemlock, Fenton and Lume Christian. Johnny bender to second place at No. 1 singles, Landen Gagnon won two matches at No. 3 singles. Charles Renard and Josh Nystrom won the consolidation bracket at No. 2 doubles. All flights won at least one match.

The Alpena boys soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Bay City John Glenn on Saturday at home on Park Family Field at Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats are currently 0-2-1 on the year.
