The Alpena High girls golf team played their first tournament at the Quest in Houghton Lake on Monday. The Wildcats finished in third place, with a team score of 416. Freshman Grace Bouchard led the team with a fourth place score of 89. Sydney Silver took fifth with a 94, and Jami Richards was tied for tenth with a 111.
The Wildcat boys soccer team played Bay City Central to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. Alpena is 0-1-1 on the season.
