Alpena’s newest walk-in healthcare clinic is opening Wednesday.
WellNow Urgent Care, which claims to be one of the nation’s fastest-growing urgent care providers is opening its doors on M-32 today.
The clinic offers treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, COVID-19 PCR testing, and occupational medicine services seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The center will provide treatment for ailments such as sprains, burns, lacerations, colds and allergies, as well as on-site X-rays, lab testing and physicals.
Occupational medicine services, including Workers’ Compensation assistance, pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing and more are also available.
Patients can walk in or schedule a visit online.
WellNow accepts most insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
WellNow Urgent Care opened in 2012 and now operates more than 180 centers across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
