Montmorency Co. deputies on scene of house fire, dispute & crashes

Deputies with the Montmorency County Sheriff’s Office were on scene of a house fire over the week, along with multiple automobile crashes, a dispute and more.

Last Wednesday a deputy was sent to a single-vehicle rollover accident on County Road 451. No one was injured in the crash.

Early Friday morning, a resident of Albert Township called 911 to report smoke coming from the house across the street. Multiple fire departments from the area responded but the house was completely destroyed by flames. There were no injuries and police did not say how the fire was started.

Later that day a deputy was sent to an Albert Township residence to take a report about threats being made in an ongoing dispute. That investigation continues. Shortly thereafter, Tri Township Fire and EMS responded to a home in Loud Township after a man fell out of a tree. The man was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

And two vehicles collided Saturday afternoon in Montmorency Township. Two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. No details of the crash were released.
