Clarine E. Long, 87, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
Clarine Estelle Basto was born on April 19, 1936, to the late Wayne and Fannie (Peltoniemi) Baseo and married Frank Long on June 22, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2014. She enjoyed cooking, feeding and watching hummingbirds, but most importantly was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild, McKenna.
Surviving are her son, Frank (Lori) Long; 3 grandchildren, Karen Long, Frank (Jenn) Long, Sharon Long and a great granddaughter, McKenna.
Mrs. Long was preceded in death by brother, Jack Basto.
Visitation will take place at Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Herb Kitzman officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
Interment: Pleasant View Cemetery
