Alpena VA clinic to hold enrollment event

The Lieutenant Colonel Clement C. Van Wagoner VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Alpena is hosting an enrollment event for veterans who are not currently enrolled for Veteran’s Affairs (VA) health care.

The event is being held Wednesday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the clinic, which is located inside Harborside Center.

Veterans can learn how they may be eligible for VA health care, services, and benefits they have earned by serving in the military. People who are unable to attend the event can stop by the clinic Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to speak with staff about enrollment. Vets can also contact the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center’s Eligibility Offices at 989-497-2500, Ext. 13120 or 13121.

The Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw operates an 81-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community living center. It provides care to over 38,000 veterans in a 35-county geographic area, from mid-Michigan to the Mackinac Bridge.
