Hospice of MI offers abundance of virtual grief support groups

Hospice of Michigan is offering an abundance of virtual support groups through the winter months for people dealing with grief and loss.

Some of the many groups formed include people in their 20s and 30s, those who have experienced the death of a loved one from COVID-19, people who have lost a parent or an adult child, men who are dealing with the death of a loved one, and anyone who has lost someone to Alzheimer’s Disease or other type of dementia.

Ongoing sessions are highlighted by the Living On group series, where the focus is to express feelings and experiences related to the loss of a loved one in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental environment. Grief and loss topics are addressed as they arise, depending on the interests of those attending the group.

A complete list of support groups, contacts and RSVP information can be viewed below.
