The number of domestic violence incidents in Alcona County was up over the week.
The department responded to five calls for domestic violence resulting in three separate arrests. No details of the incidents were released.
Deputies also responded to four calls for suicide, three for larceny, three for threats, two for fraud, and one each for malicious destruction of property, trespassing and minor in possession of alcohol.
There were also four reports each for neighbor trouble and civil disputes.
Deputies were on scene of eight traffic crashes and conducted 34 traffic stops. One of the stops led to the arrest of the driver for operating while under the influence of drugs.
The sheriff’s office logged a total of 97 complaints over the week. Residents of Curtis Township and Harrisville placed the most calls to police.
