Alcona residents call police for sexual assault, burglary, child neglect & more

Residents of Alcona County phoned a number of serious complaints into the sheriff’s office last week.

That included calls for child neglect, sexual assault and identity theft.

There were three calls for domestic violence, two each for burglary, threats or harassment and larceny, and one each for assault and battery and a civil dispute.

Deputies made one arrest for operating under the influence of drugs and were on scene of 8 traffic crashes.

Residents of Harrisville placed the most calls to police.
