The Montmorency County Sheriff’s office responded to two separate calls for domestic violence last week, both of which led to arrests.
Deputies were sent to a home in Albert Township shortly before 4:30 a.m. last Tuesday, after someone reported a domestic assault.
Following an initial investigation both parties were arrested and jailed on domestic violence charges.
Later that night, officers were sent to a domestic dispute in Avery Township. That investigation led to the arrest of a man on domestic violence charges. No other details were released.
Deputies also responded to at least four accidents between cars and deer over the week. No one was injured in those crashes.
The department logged a total of 86 complaints.
