- A Lachine man who has been jailed for drunk driving in the past is lucky to be alive and fortunate he did not kill anyone following his most recent arrest.
Chasyn Ray Wilkinson, 34, was taken into custody following a traffic stop southeast of Rogers City last Wednesday, (OCT 7) after his vehicle was clocked at 103 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone.
The state police trooper who pulled Wilkinson over noticed signs of intoxication and observed several empty beer cans on the passenger floor. Wilkinson was arrested after he failed field sobriety tests.
Wilkinson has been arraigned on a single count of operating while intoxicated third offense.
Wilkinson’s recent arrest occurred on US-23 near Petersville Road at approximately 7:15 p.m
