A 48 year-old man is facing up to 40 years in prison for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine at his home north of Atlanta.A 48 year-old man is facing up to 40 years in prison for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine at his home north of Atlanta.

Ebert Dempsey Weaver is facing six counts stemming from a raid of his house on Pine Street last Wednesday, by the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (HUNT).

Detectives seized evidence “indicating an extensive lab which may have produced abnormally large amounts of methamphetamine.”

Weaver is facing 5 to 40 years in prison and/or a fine up to $200,000.

HUNT was assisted by deputies from Montmorency County, Tri-Township Fire Department and the Michigan State Police.
