Alpena Public Schools administrators have signed a letter of intent with the Southfield based Landmark Property Management Group to begin negotiations for the sale of the district’s transportation garage on M-32.

A new transportation center is proposed to be constructed at the high school near the football field, in a swap for the property on M-32.

By signing the agreement, the district agrees to not enter into negotiations with any other development company for 30 days. This allows Landmark time to survey the property, look at the ground materials and to consider prices and designs.
