Police in Alcona respond to sex assault, suicidal person, runaways & more

Residents of Alcona County filed some serious complaints with the sheriff’s office last week, including a suicidal person and sexual assault.

There were two calls for domestic violence, three for malicious destruction of property and larceny, and four for civil disputes.

Deputies also responded to one call each for trespassing and a dog bite. They also made one arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, and picked up two people on outstanding warrants.

Officers were on scene of 12 auto accidents including 10 between cars and deer.

Residents of Greenbush placed the most calls to police.
