Police seek answers after recovering body from Oscoda Twn. creek

Police are seeking the public’s help after recovering a body from Van Ettan Creek in Oscoda Township Tuesday evening. 

Oscoda Township Police were dispatched to an area of the creek near Merkel Lane around 6:18 p.m. after someone reported seeing a body floating in the river.

Police and fire officials recovered the body of 32 year-old Timothy Bryan Morrison of Oscoda. Morison was last seen four days before he died, on June 26 around 10 p.m. He was reported missing the night before he was found in the creek.

Anyone who had contact with Morrison after June 26 at 10 p.m. is asked to contact police at 989-739-9113.
