Bergman announces over $5M in grants for 1st District health services

Congressman Jack Bergman has announced more than $5.1 million in grants for tribal and community health services in Michigan’s 1st Congressional District.

The funding includes nearly $770,000 for Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc., and a little over $1 million for Alcona Citizens For Health, Inc.

The awards are coming through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
