DHD#4 offices closed to walk-ins, over 120 COVID-19 tests submitted

District Health Department No. 2 and 4 offices are closed to the public until further notice following Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order.

All offices will continue to provide as many services as possible by appointment only. There will be signage at each office to direct those with appointments on what to do when they arrive.

To schedule an appointment call the appropriate office in Alpena, Atlanta, Cheboygan, Harrisville, Mio, Rogers City, Tawas City or West Branch.

In other news, Health Officer Denise Bryan said that as of Tuesday afternoon, there were no confirmed cases of the coronavirus across the eight county region.

A total of 56 tests have been submitted across Alcona, Iosco, Ogemaw and Oscoda counties. Thirty-three tests have come back negative and 23 results are pending.

A total of 65 tests have been submitted across Alpena, Cheboygan, Montmorency and Presque Isle counties. Thirty-three tests have come back negative and 32 results are pending.
