A man near Gaylord got more than he bargained for after posting a vehicle for sale on Facebook.

State police were sent to the victim’s home in Hayes Township December 16, for a report of a stolen vehicle.

The victim told police he had posted a 2003 pickup truck for sale on Facebook, and the suspect who showed up to test drive it took off with the truck and never returned.

The suspect was later identified as 28 year-old Trever Kibby-Boron of Lewiston.

Kibby-Boron was recently picked up with the stolen truck, south of Freemont, Michigan. He has been charged with unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle. He is also facing charges from his arrest by state police for resisting and obstructing, felon in possession of ammunition, obstructing justice and a parole violation.

Kibby-Boron is due back in court Thursday.
