The community is invited to attend MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena’s 3rd annual Love Light Trees ceremony and remembrance event Thursday.

In addition to placing a cardinal on an indoor tree in remembrance or honor of a loved one, attendees will enjoy punch, cookies, popcorn, and a holiday discount in the gift shop.

An invocation will be offered by Reverend Paul Lance, who will also pay tribute to those who were memorialized through gifts made to the Love Light Trees. The 8th grade choir from Thunder Bay Junior High School will sing holiday carols.

Contributions to the MidMichigan Health Foundation from this event will help provide advanced equipment to patients including a 3D stereotactic table that offers state-of-the-art technology for biopsies in the Mammography Suite.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a holiday open house.
