A total of 115 complaints were filed with the Montmorency County Sheriff’s Office last week.

That included a number of auto accidents, false alarms, suspicious activity and more.

Deputies also made two arrests for drugged driving and one for drunk driving.

Last Tuesday, shortly after 11 a.m., a female driver called police and said she had gone into a ditch. She left the scene and was later charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs and leaving the scene of an accident.

That same day a business in Albert Township called to report some items had been stolen from a vehicle in their lot. No other details were released. And a 45 year-old man was arrested last Tuesday afternoon for operating while intoxicated after he rolled his vehicle on Mathews Road near M-32 in Vienna Township. The man was not injured.

And Friday, around 7 p.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on Fourth Street in Hillman Township. A 36 year-old man was transported to the hospital for medical attention. He was then arrested and jailed for driving under the influence of drugs and driving with a suspended license.
