Alcona deputies respond to calls for burglary, domestic violence & lost person

Deputies from the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office responded to 112 complaints over the week, including a missing person, two calls for burglary and three for domestic violence.

There were also three reports for both fraud and civil disputes.

Deputies picked up two people on outstanding warrants and made one arrest for drunk driving. They were also on scene of 12 auto accidents, including 11 between cars and deer.

Residents of Harrisville and Caledonia Township placed the most calls to police.
