The League of Women Voters of Alpena County will be making the presentation Monday, and on four subsequent occasions in October.

Proposal 3 was successfully passed by an overwhelming number of voters in November 2018. Some of the many changes it made to the state’s election laws include same-day voter registration, no-reason absentee voting and the option to vote straight party.

Rose Frost, a member of the League of Women Voters of Alpena County’s leadership team will lead the “Making Democracy Work: Michigan’s New Voting Rights” workshops at all branches of the Presque Isle District Library.
