Alcona deputies busy responding to 92 complaints

The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous serious complaints over the week, including two for a suicidal person, two for sexual assault, and one each for burglary, domestic violence and a bomb threat.

Residents also placed three calls for threats or harassment, two for civil disputes and one each for malicious destruction of property, fraud, identity theft and animal abuse.

Deputies were also on scene of seven auto accidents and picked up one person on an outstanding warrant.

Residents of Caledonia Township and Harrisville filed the most complaints.
