More than 130 to sell wares at Art on the Bay

More than 130 artisans are expected to display and sell their wares when Art on the Bay returns to Alpena’s Bayview Park this Saturday and Sunday.

Vendors have been selling their goods at the annual event for the past 43 years.

The open-air arts and crafts show will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artisans will be selling paintings with a wide range of subject matter;, pottery, hand-crafted jewelry, a wide variety of needle art, wall hangings, quilting and hand-knit items, along with wood and metal signs, furniture and lawn art.

A variety of food and drink will also be available on the grounds.
