The Michigan State Police have Tweeted that Gabriella Vitale has been found alive. More details will come later.

Police in Oscoda County continue to search for a two-year child who went missing on a family camping trip.

The Sheriff’s Office met with the little girl’s family early Monday morning, in a wooded area about 3⁄4 mile west of M-33 on Reber Road in Comins Township, just north of Fairview.

Family members said they are from the Monroe area and had been camping since late last week.  They were preparing to leave Monday morning when they lost track of their child, Gabriella Roselynn Vitale.

Gabriella was last seen wearing a pink zip-up coat and pink bottoms.  She is believed to be wearing tennis shoes and a gray shirt under the jacket.

Anyone with information on Gabriella Vitale is asked to contact Oscoda Central Dispatch at 989-826- 3214.

Oscoda deputies have been joined in the search by the Michigan State Police, including canine teams and a MSP helicopter.
