Alcona deputies investigate 3 for suicide, animal abuse, domestic violence & more

Residents of Alcona County called 244 complaints into the sheriff’s office last week.

That included three calls for a suicidal person, two for assault and battery and one each for domestic violence and animal abuse.

There were also two reports of civil disputes, two for threats and one for malicious destruction of property, larceny and drunk and disorderly.

Deputies were also on scene of 23 auto accidents, including 19 between cars and deer. They also picked up three fugitives on outstanding warrants.

Residents of Harrisville and Greenbush placed the most calls to police.
