Alcona deputies respond to child abuse, domestic violence, filing a false police report & more

The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office logged 125 complaints over the week.

That included calls for child abuse, domestic violence, filing a false police report and more.

There were four reports of trespassing, two for malicious destruction of property and one each for threats or harassment and assault or battery. There were 23 medical calls and seven for civil disputes.

Deputies were on scene of 11 auto accidents and made five arrests including one each for drunk driving and filing a false police report.

Residents of Harrisville and Mikado filed the most complaints with police.
