CHOCOLATE SYRUP COOKIES

0.25 pound of butter
1 cup of brown sugar, don’t pack
0.5 cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
One third cup of chocolate syrup
2 cups of self rising flour

Heat oven to 350. Cream the butter and sugars. Add egg. Add syrup. Finishing off with the flour. Will be sticky. Roll into golfball size. Put balls on a cookie sheet and flatten slightly with your fingers. Bake 8 to ten minutes. They will be a little bit browned around the edges. Take off pan and cool.
