MI gas prices drop 11 cents

The average price of gasoline in Michigan was down over the week.

AAA Michigan says the new statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is about $2.80, down 11 cents from one week ago.

AAA found the cheapest price for gas in the Flint area where it’s about $2.71. The most expensive gas of $2.85 per gallon was found in Marquette.

As of early Tuesday morning, drivers in the Alpena area were paying an average of $2.81 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, down 10 cents from one week ago.
