The Alpena High School Girls basketball team fell to the Gaylord Blue Devils in a Big North Conference game on their home court last night.

The Wildcats were unable to put together much offense late in the game, as they were held to just four points in the fourth quarter.

Leading Scorers for the Wildcats were Christina Kollien and Emma Strong, who both had seven points in the contest.

With the loss, Alpena falls to 2-5 on the season, and 1-3 in conference play.

The Cats hope to snap their three-game losing streak this Thursday night when they host a Cadillac squad who is currently tied for first in the conference.
