The Alpena High School volleyball team won the Silver Division Championship of the Bay City Invitational on Saturday.

The Wildcats earned the top seed in the Silver Division after pool play and defeated Lakeville and Bullock Creek on the way to the championship match. Alpena squared off against Essexville-Garber in the title match and defeated the Dukes, 25 to 21 and 25 to 22.
