Gas prices across Michigan continue to fall.

AAA Michigan says prices are down 3.4 cents per gallon over the past week to a statewide average of $2.70.

Of the cities it surveys, AAA found the cheapest price for self-serve regular fuel in the Saginaw/Bay City area, where it’s $2.57 a gallon.  The highest average was found in the Ann Arbor and Marquette areas at $2.75.

In Alpena, the price for a gallon of self-serve unleaded fuel dropped 4-cents over the past week, to a new average of $2.69.

Meanwhile, analyst Trilby Lundberg says the average price of regular gasoline in the United States has dropped more than 11 cents over a
three-week period to $2.72 a gallon.
