Gaylord police searching for female armed robbery suspect

Gaylord Police continue to search for the woman who held up a cash advance business Wednesday, by knifepoint.

The female suspect entered the Advance America Cash Advance store at approximately 5 p.m., brandishing a knife and demanding money from the employee on duty.  The woman was last seen fleeing the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 20-25 year-old white female with dark hair, 5’6”, weighing 115-125 pounds.  She was wearing a yellow hooded shirt, blue sweat pants, tennis shoes and a dark-colored knit winter hat.  She was also wearing large round sunglasses with a blue, yellow and green scarf wrapped around her face.
