Doris M. Kelly, of 507 Plymouth Drive, Alpena,  went home to be with the Lord God and her husband Mark on Friday, April 16, 2010, while surrounded by her family.

Doris was born in Alpena on August 7, 1918 to the late Raymond and Eva (LeTourneau) Kennedy and married Mark Kelly in Alpena on July 1, 1939.  Mark preceded her in death on December 20, 1997.
Mrs. Kelly was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Altar Society, member of the Founder’s Society at the Besser Museum, the AGH Auxiliary, named AGH Auxiliary Volunteer of the Month, and a volunteer at St. Bernard’s School.
At the age of 91, she had achieved a full life, having raised six children, Tom (Judith), Karen Morey, Mike, Ann (Ted) Burton, Bill, Mary Jane (Scott) Barkley, “Grandma” to 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and cherished dearly.  Also surviving are 2 sisters-in-law, Marge Kelly and Jean Seguin.
She was preceded in death by  her brothers, Gene and Pat Kennedy.
Mrs. Kelly is at the Bannan Funeral Home where visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 18th.  with a parish prayer service at  7 PM.  Visitation will continue Monday at St. Bernard Catholic Church from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral mass at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Rolando Silva officiating.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery
In lieu of flower Memorial donations may be made to Alpena Regional Medical Center Development Fund or St. Bernard Catholic Church
