A candidate hoping to succeed fellow Michigan Democrat Bart Stupak has raised $120,000 for her congressional run.
Connie Saltonstall of Charlevoix had $114,618 available for the 1st District race as of March 31.  That’s according to figures  posted Thursday on the Federal Election Commission Web site.  The former county commissioner put $15,000 of her own money into the campaign.

The FEC didn’t list numbers for Dan Benishek, who’s running in the Republican primary for the 1st District seat.  But the Iron River surgeon said Wednesday he had $223,000 cash on hand.
Stupak said last week he wouldn’t seek a 10th term in Congress.
