Junior Achievement of Alpena is moving forward on their mission of educating youth on economics and finances.

Their spring 2010 instruction will begin the week of April 5th.  Once a week for nearly two months, volunteers will be in 10 seventh grade classrooms and will reach almost 250 students.

This program is made possible by the many volunteers who give time in the classroom each semester, and because of the financial support of over 26 businesses and individuals in the Alpena Area.

The Alpena Junior Achievement program remains a strong program and is impacting hundreds of students’ every year with instruction on free enterprise, financial responsibility, and the basics of business. The Junior Achievement of Alpena Board of Directors would like to thank all the volunteers and sponsors of the program and look forward to continuing to serve the youth of the community well into
the future.
