State Senator Tony Stamas recently appointed Jennifer Bowman as his new chief of staff.

“I am happy to have Jennifer serving as my chief of staff,” Stamas said. “She brings a great deal of talent and experience to the table.  I know she will work hard for my constituents in the 36th Senate District.”

Bowman, of Grand Rapids, has a diverse and well-rounded background.  Previously she worked as Stamas’ director of policy, communications and office operations and has worked for Stamas in both legislative chambers.

“I am very excited to support Senator Stamas and the residents of the
36th Senate District in my new role as chief of staff,” Bowman said.
“I have a great deal of respect for the senator and am honored to
continue to serve the constituents in the 36th Senate District in this
role.”

The 36th Senate District consists of the counties of Alcona, Alpena,
Crawford, Gladwin, Iosco, Midland, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Otsego.
