An Alpena man will be sentenced in December for breaking into a woman’s home with the intent to assault her.

Christ Reinhard Christou, 24, is accused of entering the victim’s home on Grant Street without permission on March 9, 2018.

Christou pleaded guilty to a single count of home invasion – first degree.  He also admitted that he intended to assault the woman, a former girlfriend, even though a second count of domestic violence-2nd degree was dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Christou is scheduled for sentencing on December 3 and is facing additional charges in a second case involving the same woman.  He is charged with home invasion second degree and assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder in that case.
