Alcona deputies respond to burglary, child neglect, domestic violence & more

The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office logged a total of 127 complaints over the week.

Some of the more serious calls were for a burglary, child neglect, domestic violence, and drugs.

Residents also called in two reports of gun shots fired, fraud and animal neglect.

Deputies made eight arrests over the week, including one each for drunk driving and driving under the influence of drugs.  They also responded to 12 auto accidents, including 10 between cars and deer.

Residents of Greenbush placed the most calls to police.
