The American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to give blood during National Volunteer Month this April.

Donating blood is a simple way for those who are short on time to make a life-changing difference.

Volunteer donors are the only source of blood products for those in need of transfusions.  Donors of all blood types are needed to help meet patient needs this spring.

A blood drive is being held at Cheboygan High School on Tuesday, between : 8:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.  Another is being held at the Lincoln Senior Center in Lincoln Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Donors must be at least 16 years-old, weigh 110 pounds and be in good general health.
