Northeast Michigan’s first craft beer festival is being held in downtown Alpena this weekend.

The Sunrise Suds Tap Takeover will be held on Saturday, from 3 to 9 p.m., with two large tents lining Second Avenue, between Chisholm and River streets.

The festival will feature a selection of craft beers from over 30 breweries, live music, games and activities.

The list of bands include Rootstand, Gun, The Tosspints, and The Erie Bros.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door.  There’s also a VIP ticket for $75.

Although the main festival ends at 9 p.m., the City of Alpena has approved a noise ordinance so the party can continue outside through midnight.
