The Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (HUNT) has arrested four more people for selling cocaine on the streets of Alpena.

The investigation started in July with the arrest of two people and culminated Monday, with the arrest of the new suspects, two male and two female, all from Alpena.

The two men are ages 34 and 40; and the two women are ages 31 and 38.  Their names have not been released. The charges range from possession of marijuana to possession with intent to deliver cocaine and delivery of cocaine.

In conjunction with the arrest, HUNT executed a search warrant at an Alpena Township residence early Tuesday morning and seized unknown amounts of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine.  The agency is also going through forfeiture proceedings to seize a vehicle and an unknown amount of cash.

HUNT officials thank a group of citizens who helped investigators after they became suspicious of activity in their neighborhood.

HUNT was assisted in the investigations by Alpena City Police, Michigan State Police and conservation officers from the Department of Natural Resources.  Tips can be phoned into HUNT by dialing 1-800-573-DRUG.
