Alcona deputies investigate sexual assault, stolen vehicles & more

The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of two stolen vehicles over the week, a sexual assault and three reports of domestic violence.

There was also four calls for larceny and one each for resisting an officer, malicious destruction of property and fraud.

Officers also investigated three reports of civil disputes and arrested three people on outstanding warrants.

The sheriff’s office logged a total of 171 complaints over the week. Residents of Curtis Township placed more calls to police than any other municipality in the county.
