Three men from northeast Michigan recently pleaded guilty to various drug charges and will be sentenced next month.

Rodney Richard Werda of Alpena admitted that between March and April he sold methamphetamine on one occasion and heroin on two other occasions.

The 35 year-old Werda faces a minimum of 36-60 months in prison.  He is currently being held in the Oakland County Jail on unknown charges.

Jerry Michael Edwards, 29, of Alpena pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methemphetamine with Christopher Stirling Crandall in Sanborn Township.  In exchange for his guilty plea, three other counts were dismissed.

And Crandall, who lives in Ossineke, reached a plea deal on three charges, including conspiracy to manufacture meth.  Crandall, 31, admitted cooking the drug in a pole barn at his grandparents residence in Sanborn Township on June 8.  As part of an agreement, he is expected to receive a minimum of 30 months in prison.

All three men will be sentenced on September 18.
