Alpena man back to jail on more drug charges
Justin Shipp was recently sentenced on a parole violation stemming from the 2010 conviction.
The 25 year-old was caught with synthetic marijuana 12 days after it was outlawed in the State of Michigan. That was a violation of his parole for which he received two months in jail.
Shipp has seven misdemeanors and seven felonies on his record and a history of dealing drugs in Alpena.
His sentence from 2010 stemmed from an August 2009 investigation by the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team (HUNT). Shipp and two other men were caught selling heroin in the area.
