The 38th Annual Michigan Brown Trout Festival kicks-off tomorrow on the shores of Thunder Bay in Alpena and features plenty of fishing as well as events at two tents, large and small.

Things get going Thursday evening with the Fish Fry Family Kick-off Dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Big Tent and the Good Morning Alpena Breakfast on Friday morning beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Things rev-up on Friday night with the 99.9 The Wave Listener Appreciation Night in the Big Tent with the Hide-A-Way reunion band. Doors open up at 8:00 p.m. with music to follow.

Festival activities shift into high-gear on Wednesday, July 18 with the party of the summer—the annual 107.7 The Bay Bash featuring the band Jedi Mind Trip and the always popular Budweiser swimsuit and trunk contest.

Be sure to stay tuned to 99.9 The Wave and 107.7 The Bay to hear the latest events and fishing reports throughout the festival.
