Crime of the week – Alpena vandalism

This week’s comes from the files of the Alpena Police Department.

During the last two weeks, officers have investigated numerous acts of vandalism; specifically, damaged windows to cars, residences, and businesses.  The incidents occurred at various locations throughout the city.

Anyone having information regarding these acts of vandalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL and a tip number will be provided.

If after calling Crime Stoppers you wish to provide further information, you may contact Sgt. Dave Koch of the Alpena Police Department, 989-354-1800.  

The information will remain confidential and a caller may remain anonymous.  Crime Stoppers may pay up to a $1,000 reward for information that assists in the arrest of those responsible for this crime.

I ran two off my place back in the fall. Never called police but they will never set foot on my property again. I don’t live in town so my method would not be safe in town. I never was destructive when running around as a kid/teen. Hopefully they stop.
