An Oscoda man who shot and killed his roommate before turning the gun on himself has died.

According to Oscoda Township Police, 31 year-old Nathan Olais Moss died of a gunshot wound to the head at a downstate hospital early Friday morning, around 12:30 a.m.

Moss shot 37 year-old Rickie Lynn Cheatum, Jr. in the head around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.  Cheatum died at the scene.

The two men were reportedly arguing before the incident.

The murder-suicide remains under investigation.
