Janice Lynn Crawford, 66, of Lachine, MI passed away at her home on February 3, 2019, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Janice was born in Alpena, MI on July 5, 1952, to the late James and Elaine (Bushey) Zielaskowski and graduated from Alpena High School in 1970. On January 1, 1999, she married Robert Crawford.

Jan loved her dog, Wally and her cat, Fuzzy. She also enjoyed feeding all the stray cats in Lachine and gave each of them a warm home. She will be missed dearly by her special sister and best friend, Kay. Bob and Jan often gathered at Long Lake, Hillman where they spent time with family and friends. She hosted many holidays and loved to decorate her house and office for every occasion. Jan sold real estate for 25 years and most recently worked for Banner Realty. She enjoyed her job and made many new friends throughout her years as a realtor. Janice will be greatly missed by all.

Jan is survived by her loving husband, Robert Crawford; daughter, Aimee (Eric Weiland) Smith; step son, Adrian (Kimberly) Crawford; grandchildren, Hailee, Elizabeth, Darian, Hanna, Emmie; great grandchildren, Kendall and Harper; siblings, Sherry (Larry) Tolan, Jay (Susan) Zielaskowski, Kay Stoppa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chase.

Special thanks to McLaren Hospice, Kimberly Crawford and Brenda Mattish for their 24-hour care during the last few weeks of Jan’s life. We are so grateful for all your hard work.
