It was a rather quiet week for the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office.

Although deputies were busy responding to 21 auto accidents on snow-covered and slippery roads.

Some of the more serious complaints included assault and battery, larceny, gun shots fired, and a violation of the Michigan Sex Offender Registry.

Residents of Harrisville placed the most calls to police over the week.
